Alison Wonderland is an Australian DJ and electronic music artist. Alexandra Margo Sholler was born in Australia. Early in her life, the family of Tolman relocated to England. They stayed there until she reached age four. The subsequent five years living in Oklahoma and West Texas, before moving to Sugar Land, Texas. In the Fort Bend Community Theatre, she began taking acting lessons in the age of 10. Clements High School in Clements in Texas. She graduated with a diploma in 2000. She graduated in 2000 from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatrical performance. In Dallas, after graduating from college, she became one of the founders of Second Thought Theatre. Then, in Chicago Illinois she began her study of acting at The Second City Training Center in 2009. Tolman became famous in 2014, when Tolman appeared on the FX show Fargo. The show was inspired by The 1996 Coen brothers film of the same title, Fargo starred veteran actors Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman as well as Bob Odenkirk. Tolman received praise for her portrayal of Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson, with Vanity Fair noting the following "calmly and certainly took over the whole film".
